So, who are Mekios?
Mekios Limited, a member of the Nigerian Export Promotion Council, are based in Lagos on the Iganmu Industrial Estate, close to the Port areas. The Company was actually born nearly 35 years ago in 1969 and it’s principal activity is in the industrial engineering and construction sector, as well as it’s mining division.
From the beginning, the Company has grown substantially over the years, and it’s activities include the design, fabrication and installation of tanks and storage vessels and associated civil works on behalf of multi-national clients operating in the oil, gas and brewing industries, plus other indutrial sectors. Mekios are also involved in the complete design, fabrication, procurement installation and commissioning of process plants complete with all ancillary equipment, pipe work and associated facilities.

The Mekios property division is engaged in the building of residential housing and road construction, as well as commercial property construction and development. Mekios employs nearly 300 people including teams of qualified and experienced project and commissioning engineers, both Nigerian and Expatriate, holding various disciplines including mechanical, chemical, electrical, civil and structural.
The Company’s blue-chip client base is extensive and includes construction and installation projects for National Oil & Chemical, Guinness (Nig) PLC, Mobile Oil, African Petroleum, Shell, Delta Glass, AGIP Petroleum, plus other projects for the French Embassy, Crusader Insurance, Wema Bank, Nigerian Re-Insurance, Continental Merchant Bank, Nigerian Salt Refining, Bauchi International Hotel, and the Kwara Stadium in Ilorin, plus many more. |
